This little 6-year-old is Grayson from White Bluff, TN. Grayson was diagnosed at age 4 with Rhabdomyosarcoma. Since being diagnosed, he’s had over 200 treatments of both chemo and radiation and multiple surgeries.
Grayson’s cancer was first noticed in his left testicle. He underwent surgery losing his left testicle followed by chemo once weekly for 7 months. In January, 2023, his scans showed no signs of cancer. Grayson’s next scans were in April 2023 and unfortunately they showed a tumor the size of a tennis ball. The tumor was attached to a lymph node near his spleen which required another surgery to have both the tumor removed AND his left kidney. Grayson underwent 9 more months of chemo, 5 days a week as well as 25 straight days of radiation. By February 2024 his scans were clear again.
Within 5 weeks he was experiencing neck pain. He had a CT scan in the ER that revealed his cancer had returned. This time the cancer had moved to his skull and was the size of an egg and which caused a hemorrhage. He has since completed another 15 radiation treatments and is receiving chemo once a week. Grayson’s dad said “the doctors are telling me he’s terminal and will have weekly chemo indefinitely. Grayson needs a MIRACLE”.
This young man is allllll boy! He loves to ride his dirt bike, stroll the yard in his golf cart, and play outside in the rain and mud.
Grayson’s wish to go to Walt Disney World and the beach came true on June 5th. He and his family stayed at Give Kids The World and enjoyed their swimming pools, ice cream, and arcade. He was able to meet lots of the Disney characters, ride some super fun rides, and experience the amazing fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom.
Andy, Grayson’s dad said “This trip might’ve been the best time Grayson has ever experienced. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for you and everyone involved to do this for him”.
Keep this cutie pie in your prayers please as he is literally in a battle for his life!
