Y’all….this is Abby from Clarksville and she is absolutely adorable!!  Abby was diagnosed at age 2 with a brain tumor. She underwent 6 rounds of intense chemo and a 10-hour brain surgery where they were able to get all of the tumor except for one small piece.  She was considered stable until July 2021.

In July 2021, her check up showed tumor cells in her brain matter cells and spine. This time treatment included proton therapy in St Louis to try and stabilize the tumor cells. In November 2021, bi-weekly chemo started again.  A week ago Sunday Abby started having severe seizures and was admitted to the ICU. Tests showed that her tumors have returned and are growing in her brain. There are no treatment options to cure this sweet girl at this time and she is receiving comfort care.

Abby worships her 9-year-old brother Ty. She’s always been so jealous that he gets to ride the school bus and she can’t. Mom has assured her numerous times “you can ride the bus with Ty when you turn 5”. Sadly that isn’t going to be an option for her anymore. Sooooo Mom and Ty came up with an amazing wish experience idea (wish experiences are my favorite type of wish!!!).  We have worked it out with the Montgomery County school board and we will have the bus pick the family up at their house and take them to Ty’s school. (I’m working on arranging a few surprises once she’s at the school like princesses and Star Wars people for Ty). She will also ride the bus to Chuck E Cheese for dinner and games. Abby has never been to Chuck E Cheese so this will be another great surprise for her. I can’t wait to see her cute little face when she finally gets to board the school bus with her big brother!
